ready to leave my six year post in fashion production, i resolved to open myself up to new opportunities and welcome a new calling. one july afternoon, i began to clear my work space of everything i had accumlated since 2005. all unnecessary clutter-inhibiting items had to go. and so they did, until i could no longer physically move the large box that everything had been tossed in to. feeling refreshed and pleased with my zen-like space i wished only for fresh flowers to fill the empty glass vase that remained on the far corner of my desk. with very few grab-and-go flower options in midtown, i considered ordering a bundle from a cool downtown boutique. dissuaded by the price tag i thought for a moment... if only there was another option, something in between... that a-ha! moment, the opening of the proverbial doors, certainly came a lot faster than expected, but i knew it wasn’t just a fleeting thought. i texted my sister right away. (we were always sharing our latest and greatest ideas.) she responded immediately, “yes! LOVE that.” i got right to work.

2h is named for my lovely east village domicile. more than just 2 characters on my door, 2h has become known for everything that has gone on in this apartment-shaped home. it’s a spot where i can delight in making everything an experience - however grand or subtle. whether it’s cocktails for a friend who’s popping by, hosting a pre-going-out-dancing soirée, my annual pumpkin carving party, or welcoming weekend guests, i love to make each occasion feel personal. i am now lucky enough to pour the same enthusiasm and love into flowers. i will offer an arrangement of your most favorite blooms, a vintage vase whose story speaks to you, and a hand-tied bundle to be taken on a first date. this may require a little rule breaking, some big risk taking, and a few sleepless nights, but i give my promise to deliver; inspired flowers for the people.
